A cafeteria serving a 5,000-person tech hub needed a way to manage the massive influx of orders during the 1-hour lunch rush.

The Challenge

Physical queues extended out the door, and kitchen operations were chaotic, relying on paper tickets. Employees were wasting half their break standing in line.

Engineered Solution

We implemented a 'scan-to-order' QR system right at the tables. The frontend (Vue.js) sends orders directly to custom Kitchen Display Screens (KDS) powered by NestJS and Redis for instant updates. The system dynamically calculates prep time to pace out kitchen workload.
